Clare County Council is being urged to clarify its plans for the Limerick Northern Distributor Road, after the controversial project hit a speed-bump.
While the route got the backing of Clare Councillors last week, their counterparts in Limerick have voted overwhelmingly against the Limerick portion of the project.

The Council here says it's considering the decision, but residents and local representatives in South-East Clare want the local authority to use this as an opportunity to overhaul their plans.
Clonlara Councillor Michael Begley is opposed to the new road in its current form.
