Senior Clare engineers have warned while the county’s water supply has stabilsed, it’ll be several weeks before it will be operating at 100 percent.
Night time restrictions have been lifted for the most part, bar in Corofin and Ruan, but problems with excessive flows in the mains continue, due to burst and leaking pipes.
The local authority says this is resulting in poor water pressure in areas of high ground and to householders at the end of some housing estates.
