Clare County Council Warns People To Stay Away From The Coast During Storm Barra

Clare County Council is advising people to stay away from coastal areas as Storm Barra approaches the country.

Met Éireann has issued a status orange wind warning for Clare, as well as Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Galway, which comes into effect from 6am tomorrow morning and remains in place until the same time on Wednesday.

Gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour along with heavy rain is expected to lead to coastal or spot flooding and dangerous driving conditions.
