Flood Forecasting Measures developed by Clare County Council have been recognised in a prestigious national competition.
The Engineers Ireland Continuing Professional Development Awards aim to recognise an engineering employer’s strategic vision, and Clare’s local authority has been short listed for the development of the Clare County Flood Forecasting System.
Engineers Ireland says the unique system is being replicated by a number of organisations throughout the country, and it’s encouraging Clare County Council to continue investing in professional development.
