Clare’s County Dog Warden is urging people not to abandon their dogs in cars as they head out and about during the Fleadh.
He was speaking after a dog was left unattended in a car for upwards of three hours last evening.
Frankie Coote was called to the scene by Gardai around 7pm to advise them on whether they should break the car window to rescue the dog.

The owners returned before action was taken, but Frankie is urging others to think before bringing their dog to town during the Fleadh:
