The District Courts in Clare dealt with the highest amount of cases in the country for 2014.
Figures in today's Irish Times show that almost 15,000 cases were presided over by Judge Patrick Durcan in District 12.

The area covers Ennis, Kilrush and Killaloe, along with Gort in south Galway.
The next highest figure was in Galway where over 14,850 cases were recorded.
The lowest figure for the year was in Mayo.
