Enda Kenny has said that there could be a time when Sinn Féin and Fine Gael join forces, though the possibility is not on the table during the term of the current Government.
The comments have been met with backlash from some Fine Gael representatives, while Clare's Junior Minister Pat Breen has refused to rule out any coalition during the current economic situation.
