Clare County Fire and Rescue Service is warning foresters, farmers and the general public that there's a heightened risk of wildfires due to the current dry spell.
The warning comes exactly a year after scores of fires throughout the County led to hundreds of acres of land and forestry being damaged.

March to June is the period of high risk for blazes and residents are being asked to take extra care and to report anything suspicious.
