A third of the nearly 400 people who took part in a poll on the Clare FM website have opted for August's Fleadh in Ennis as their high-point of the year.
There's good news for those people, and everyon else too – the Fleadh returns to the county town in 2017.
Next on the list was Ballyea's Munster Championship success, which was the highlight of the year for 30% of respondants, while the 1916 commemorations and Clare's National League wins in Hurling and Football polled 16% and 12% respectively.
There was much smaller support for Star Wars in Loop Head and the general election – just 3% for each – and another 3% opted for another event altogether.
