Clare FM has picked up four nominations in radio's most prestigious awards competition.
The PPI Radio Awards honour the best in Irish radio, and this year The Banner's Number 1 station has been shortlisted in four categories, with Derrick Lynch from Clare FM sport getting the nod for best newcommer.

Matt Purcell's documentary on Clare's Munster Final win in 1995, 'Cup On The Bus', has also been honoured, while the station's flagship current affairs show Morning Focus, and former host John Cooke, are also in the running for awards.
Winners will be announced next month, and Clare FM's General Manager Susan Murphy says she's delighted.
