Clare FM has won two national media awards for news and current affairs.
The Justice Media Awards were presented at a gala ceremony in Dublin last evening, where Clare FM’s Deputy News Editor Trudy Waters was honoured for her court reporting on the Lying Eyes – Sharon Collins Appeal case.
The Law Society of Ireland also named Clare FM as the Local Radio Winner, presenting the station’s Head of News and Current Affairs John Cooke with an award for the Free Legal Advice Slot on the Morning Focus Prrogramme.

RTE, TV3 and The Irish Examiner were also big winners at the event while Clare Champion reporter Carol Byrne was honoured in the print category.
