Club delegates from around the county met in Ennis last night for the County Board AGM, and as well as discussions on match fixtures and rules, the County Board Chairman outlined continued difficulties in securing employment for members, many of whom have been forced to emigrate.

Michael O’Neill pledged the commitment of the GAA to supporting local employment but called for a re-think on issues like Shannon Airport, Tourism promotion and industrial areas in Clare.
