Clare Gardaí will be out on force on the county’s roads over the coming days.
Drink and drug driving, wearing your seat belt and the use of mobile phones at the wheel are the focus of their road safety campaign this Easter.
The operation kicked off last night, and Gardaí have already made four arrests in the county relating to drink driving.

They’re also warning of dangerous driving conditions this afternoon, with further hail forecast.
Similar conditions led to 12 crashes on the country’s motorways yesterday, involving 36 vehicles, one of those outside Crusheen.
