Clare Gardaí have expressed concern at the high level of expired gun licenses in the county.
As many as 130 gun owners in the Kilrush Garda District alone have yet to renew their licence, even though the date to do so has already passed.

Those who have yet to comply with the law have been warned they could face a court appearance, unless swift action is taken.
