Clare Gardai say they are maintaining a heavy presence on the county's roads this weekend to crack down on drink-driving.
Extra checks will be in place around the county for the Bank Holiday weekend, and the force will also be targetting offences such as speeding and the non-wearing of seatbelts.

Sergeant Darragh Molloy of the Clare Garda Traffic Corps is asking people to make arrangements to get home if they are planning to go out for a drink.
He says it's everyone's responsibility to ensure our roads are safe.
