Gardaí in Clare are urging drivers to wake up to the effects of driver fatigue as the holiday period comes to a close.
There’ll be an increased Garda presence until January 6th in an effort to curb the number of road traffic accidents.

Two people died on our county’s roads in 2015 and Gardaí are hoping to prevent any further loss of life.
Fatigue is one of the main causes of driver death and Sergeant Darragh Molloy of the Clare Garda Traffic Corps is appealing to people to take extra care on the roads.
