Clare Gardai are reminding the public not to interfere with any suspected explosive devices they may come across.
It comes after the Army bomb squad carried out a controlled explosion on a vintage grenade that was handed into Ennis Garda station yesterday

A man dropped the live grenade, believed to have dated from the Civil War era, into the front office of the station after he found it while working at a building site near Ennis.
Supt. Brendan McDonagh of Ennis Garda Station is reminding people that unexploded ordnance are very dangerous.
