As more and more people look to staycation this year, Gardaí in Clare are urging caravan owners to put extra security measures in place.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer says there has been a rise in the number of caravans being stolen over the past eighteen months.
Sergeant Tríona Brooks is advising caravan owners to get an alarm fitted and to keep windows and doors closed at all times and to consider GPS tracking.
