Clare healthcare professionals are warning that the most vunerable in the county will suffer if the government continues to impose cuts on the sector.
Over the past 3 years, 160 million euro has been taken out of GP services alone by the Health Minister under the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interet Act.

Local representatives say this has now put their services at breaking point and they are predicting severe difficulties in the day to day running of practices with the elderly set to be affected the most.
