The funeral of the Clare Hillwalker who died in Connemara at the weekend will take place in Corofin today.
41 year old John Quinn was an experienced hillwalking enthusiast who died following what’s believed to have been a tragic accident in the remote Maam Valley in County Galway on Sunday.
A resident of Barrack Court in Kildysart, Mr Quinn was a native of Ballykinacurra in Corofin, and is survived by his bother and sister as well as relatives, friends and work colleagues at Shannon Aerospace.

He’ll be laid to rest in Ruan Cemetery following mass in St Brigid’s Church, Corofin at 1 o’clock.
