Clare house prices have seen a further drop with the average cost now under 200,000 euro.
The latest survey from property website daft.ie reveals the average asking price for houses across the country fell by 14 per cent in the last quarter of 2010, with Munster recording a drop of over 5% in the final three months of the year
Economist Ronan Lyons of Daft.ie says Clare house prices have now experienced a reduction of 110 thousand euro on peak prices during the boom.
