A prominent Clare hotelier says more supports are still needed for the hospitality industry in spite of mandatory quarantine rules now being in place for incoming travellers.
Current Level 5 restrictions will be extended until at least March 5th, with people who arrive into Ireland without a negative PCR test now being required to isolate in hotels upon the arrival.
The Irish Hotel Federation says it expects engagement with government over the coming days as details of the plan are worked out by Ministers.

Sean Lally, owner of Hotel Woodstock in Ennis, says the move will be of some benefit to hotels near airports in this county, but more is needed from government.
