Clare householders have been urged to make recycling waste part of their New Years resolutions as we enter 2011.
Clare residents have a good record with regards to recycling- 37% of household waste here is disposed of in an environmentally friendly fashion
However, people have been called upon to do more this year – Joan Tarmey, Enironment Awareness Officer with Clare County Council points out that as well as being good for the environment, it can also be good for your pocket.
