Clare IFA Wants End To Below-Cost Selling

Members of Clare IFA say they're disappointed that the practise of below-cost selling by large supermarket groups hasn't ended.

It comes as new rules banning the practise of charging suppliers for premium spaces on shelves has been signed into law by Minister Richard Bruton.

Farmers have been waiting for this leglislation to be passed but the aspect of below cost selling was one of the main concerns.
