Clare man Seamus Ryan has been elected to the Executive Board of the Labour Party.
The Clare Branch secretary secured the position by just one vote at the government party’s annual conference in Galway at the weekend.
The Moy native’s new role will see him at the centre of policy making and management for Labour over the next two years.
