A Clare national school has been approved for funding for construction works aimed at catering for a growing number of pupils.
Crusheen National School has been allocated funds under the Government’s Additional Accommodation Scheme 2020 for an extra classroom and SET room.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey, who raised the need for extra capacity with Education Minister Joe McHugh, has welcomed the announcement, saying it is a vital project for both the school and the local community.
