A North Clare Nursing Home has faired well in a recent HIQA inspection.
The St. Dominic Savio facility in Liscannor had 24 patients in residence on the day of the unannounced inspection in December.
The inspector for the Health Information and Quality Authority noted improvements to the directory of residents, the complaints procedure and operational policies at the nursing home.
The examiner went on to note that residents lived in a safe and comfortable environment and their health care needs were well met.
