Clare projects have now been snubbed by government in nearly €100 million worth of successive announcements of funding under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund.
51 projects nationwide have been awarded over €94 million in funding under the scheme in three seperate announcements since the current government came to office.
However, none of those are in Clare, although an additional quarter of a million was allocated to the Vandeleur Walled Gardens in Kilrush to allow for previously-announced works there to continue.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey is among those who has expressed disappointment, including over the omission of one project in West Clare.
