Sports Minister Patrick O'Donovan has confirmed that 30 million euro will be made available to develop sports infrastructure around the country, with online applications open from January 23rd.
Concern had been expressed over the future of the programme, which saw 25 organisations in Clare benefit from funding to the tune of 1.65 million euro last year.
However, Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey says the government remains committed to it.
