The Clare man who has been elected as the new President of the Irish Road Haulage Association is leading calls for a fuel rebate for hauliers.

Sixmilebridge native Eoin Gavin, who owns and operates a haulage company at Woodpark, Bunratty, was elected to the role at the Association’s AGM in Limerick.
Mr Gavin has already held talks with Transport Minister Leo Varadkar, in which he outlined the issues facing the industry ahead of his two year term.
