Clare homeowners are being reminded that the new tax on second properties comes into effect in the coming weeks.
The Non Principle Private Residents fee, which applies to people with a second house, has to be paid before the end of October
The charge is 200 euro per year per residence and Clare County Council is warning home owners that strict late fees are in place if the tax is not paid in time.
