Clare Publicans Call For Prioritising Of Safe Reopening Of Sector

A prominent Clare publican says the hospitality sector in this county and elsewhere needs to safely open up next week as a matter of priority.

NPHET meets today to discuss how to exit level five restrictions in the run up to Christmas, with a Cabinet decision to follow before the end of the week.

Restaurants and pubs may have to wait until the second week of December to open under a tiered re-opening model being examined by government.
