The rate of commercial vacancies in Clare is lower than the national average.
According to new analysis by the Geo Directory in the first quarter of this year 863 of the 7,062 properties were empty.

Nationally the rate has increased by one percent and now stands at 12.4 per cent while for the banner county its slightly below that at 12.2.
It stood at 11.2 in the first quarter of 2013.
