Conservation works are to be carried out on some of Clare’s oldest buidlings, following the announcement of €121,000 in funding under a heritage scheme.
The Heritage Jobs Programme funds projects on protected buildings and structures, including their repairs and conservation.

Up to 15,000 euro can be allocated to each project, and with 848 protected structures in Clare, the moneys are expected to be distributed throughout the county.
