A new Clare based group working towards a more inclusive Roman Catholic Church has written to the Vatican.
The Seeds of Hope group was established following plans to have a male Deacons in the Diocese of Killaloe last year.

Those plans have since been shelved – but the group says it is now pushing forward with their calls for men and women to be given training to allow them be more active within the Church.
They have sent their requests to the Bishop's Conference in Ireland and to Pope Francis.
One of those involved is Kathleen McDonnell of Cross Parish, she explains why they feel reform is needed.
