Residential rents in Clare are continuing to fall despite a rise in Ireland’s biggest cities.
New figures from property website Daft.ie shows that the average rent in the county for the first quarter of 2011 was 590 – a fall of 210 from the peak.

However the drop in rental costs across Munster from January to March was significantly smaller than the fall at the end of last year while rents in Dublin and Cork are now 3 per cent higher than this time last year.
