Clare Residents Disappointed Over Having To Travel To Limerick For Covid Jab

Residents in parts of Clare have expressed disappointment that people from this county are having to travel to Limerick for their Covid-19 vaccine.

Vaccination appointments are offered based on people’s Eircode’s and the UL Hospitals Group, which oversees the vaccination programme in this region, admits that on occastion people may be offered one in a centre other than the one closest to them.

Ff the time or location doesn’t suit, however, members of the public can decline and arrange a new one by contacting the HSE’s national helpline.
