Sports facilities in two of Clare’s main towns have received a six-figure boost.
Fifty-eight thousand euro in government funding is to be spent on the construction of a new artificial pitch in Kilrush, which will include floodlighting, security fencing and CCTV.

The same amount is also being allocated to improve facilities at Tim Smyth Park in Ennis.
