The young Clare teenager who died following a horse riding accident in Crusheen will be laid to rest today.
17 year old Patricia Lynch passed away in hospital after she sustained a fatal head injury when she fell from a horse during a Turkey Trot in North Clare on Sunday.
The Saint Flannan’s student who was a keen horse enthusiast was treated at the scene before being brought to Galway University Hospital but doctors deemed her too ill to travel to Beaumont for further treatment.
Patricia was the youngest of four girls and is survived by her parents Pat and Ida and her sisters Pamela, Sarah and Jennifer.
She will be laid to rest after 12 o’clock mass in Newmarket on Fergus Church today.
