Unemployment in Clare has increased once again – despite having fallen for four consecutive months.
The number of those receiving some form of social welfare benefit in the county has risen by almost 200 since last month – bringing Clare’s live register figure to over 10,400.
Ennis recorded the largest increase with 153 extra signing on since May – followed by Kilrush – while Ennistymon and Tulla saw the number of people signing on rise marginally.
