A Clare government representative admits it's highly unlikely that the county will see the full €36.8 million sought for storm repairs here.
€70m has been made available nationwide to allow for storm repairs, though a breakdown for each local authority has yet to be made available.

The money covers damage up to January 6th, and not any of the more recent weather events.
Funding will be divided into Departments and then issued to County Councils, and Clare Labour TD Michael McNamara says the local authority will have to allocate the money to the areas most needed.
