A Lissycasey Water bottling plant has trebled its workforce in less than a year of operations having secured a major contract to export water to the Netherlands.
Going against the current economic grain, Clare Spring Water Limited has begun shipping bottled water to an airline in the Netherlands, with orders of up to 14 million bottles expected per annum.
The plant in O’Casey has been up and running for less than a year, but has already increased its workforce from 10 to 26, with plans to create six further positions in the manufacture of biodegradable bottles in County Clare.
