Well many Clare workers are expected to join union protests in Limerick and Galway today, particularly those representing some 10,000 public sector workers living in the County,
It follows yesterday’s protest over proposed cuts to the community sector, with 2,000 workers taking to the streets in Limerick their opposition to the McCarthy Report, which calls for funding for many community-based schemes to be cut.
A number of Ennis Groups attended yesterday’s rally and insist they’ll fight the government if the Bord Snip recommendations are implemented
