Clare's Chief Fire Officer has praised Shannon Fire Service's rapid response to a fire at building in the area yesterday.
The blaze broke out in the roof of the Thermoking building in the Shannon Industrial Estate around 2.30 in the afternoon, leaving a large plume of black smoke over the area.

3 units of Shannon fire service were at the scene within ten minutes of receiving the call and extingished the blaze.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Adrian Kelly has hailed the professionalism of his officers.
