The number of people signing on in Clare has risen for a second month in a row.
New CSO figures show dole queues jumped by almost 240 in July with the biggest hikes of 139 and 70 recorded in Ennis and Tulla respectively.

An extra 33 people sought some form of unemployment benefit in Kilrush while the numbers actually fell in Ennistymon.
It brings the total number of people on Clare’s Live Register to over 10, 400.
