Clare’s FG Senator Suggests Enda Kenny’s Successor May Have To Wait Before Taking Over The Role

As Enda Kenny begins the first full week of his second term as Taoiseach, Clare's Fine Gael Senator has suggested that he could stay in the role for the majority of this government's term of office.

Enda Kenny has already said that he will not lead Fine Gael into another election, and already the likes of Frances Fitzgerald, Simon Coveney and Leo Varadkar have been suggested as the next party leader.
