County Clare could possibly look forward to having three representatives in the forthcoming government as Enda Kenny opens talks on a coalition today.
In the early hours of Sunday Fine Gael’s Pat Breen and Joe Carey along with Labour’s Michael McNamara were elected to represent Clare in 31st Dáil .

Fianna Fail’s Timmy Dooley took the fourth seat after being elected in the 12th count without reaching the quota.
Fine Gael and Labour are expected to finalise their negotiating teams today and they’ll be under pressure to get down to work immediately – with the first sitting of the new Dáil due to take place next week.
