Clare’s Fine Gael Senator has welcomed a Government decision to facilitate the return of in-person meetings for addiction support groups.
The meetings were curtailed last month in Dublin and Donegal, when the two counties originally went into Level 3 and it’s now confirmed that this won’t be the case, as the rest of the country is placed under additional restrictions.
Martin Conway says these organisations are a lifeline to thousands of people who struggle with addiction on a daily basis.
