Clare's Independent TD says any new stategy to tackle problems in our health service must aim to improve communication between primary and secondary care providers.
Deputy Michael Harty is commenting as an all-party committee is to be set up to examine the long-term future of the service.

The committee has been given six months to hold public hearings and decide how the system should look in future.
It's to include 14 TDs, but only four will be from the Government.
Deputy Harty is welcoming the new committee and hopes it will also look at the issue of resourcing for rural GPs.
