Students from Clare and across the country are setting up their stands at the RDS this morning for the 51st BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.
The event is open to the public from Thursday until Saturday, and 550 projects involving 1200 students will be on display.

They include over 20 entries from Ennis Community College, Rice College, Kilrush Community School, Mary Immaculate Secondary School, Lisoonvarna, St. John Bosco Community College in Kildysart, Scoil Mhuire, Ennistymon and Ennistymon CBS.
Their studies include examinations of voting patterns in the Eurovision Song Contest, peoples' sense of humour, the importance of local radio in rural Ireland and the perfect cup of tea.
